Can you introduce yourself?
Hi! My name is Isidora, I am an expat in France and I came to this country to finish my master’s degree and gain new professional experience. Paris really amazes me and I would like to stay in France for as long as possible.
What is your role at Loqacious?
I am the teacher coordinator at Loqacious, which basically means I help the teachers with any and all questions they might have, and I support them throughout their journey with us. I take care of the teachers platform, and make sure everyone is happy with their job and glad to work with us.
What made you want to work for Loqacious?
Since I was a kid I have been learning different languages. So when I saw that there is an application out there that helps people meet each other in order to learn and practice a foreign language I said to myself that this is something I have to be a part of.
How many languages do you speak and what new language do you want to learn?
I speak several languages. I am fluent in French and English, have a pretty good knowledge and understanding of the Spanish language, and my mother tongue is Serbian. Because this is a slavic language, I am fluent in Croatian, Bosnian and Montenegrin, since the languages are very similar. I learned Latin at college, but that is a dead language. I recently started learning Portuguese and would very much like to perfect it one day.
Can you tell us what’s your favourite word or expression in English?
Once in a blue moon.
